Rick - any thoughts on the vin stamped in the heater box area? It came up in another post here that the metal around where the vin is stamped is quite distorted, as if it was hit with a hammer. The stamped numbers also look as if they were done with the blow of a hammer, whereas JohnZ and Keith T have stated that they would have been "rolled" in with a special machine.

The auction listing emphasized that many LS6 cars are rebodies, and this one is not. I'm skeptical on this one. Here's a link to the thread where it was brought up:
