Re: Early Z/28 oil pans
We had an issue with some dents in the original oil pan of our '69 Z28. The biggest difference (we found) between the original (circa 1969) and the new GM casting oil pan (circa 2004) is the side molding indentations on the pan.
I know this is sort of off topic, but pretains upon reference.
