That has happened for as long as I can remember LV, but this is a newer phenomenon...I can use the "mark all posts read" thing and all the lights will go out. Then, I can return at some point in the future and some are back on again with no new entries.
BTW, my wife will buy your wife's next SL if she gets silver this time
