Default Aluminum Finish

A while back there was discussion about the finish on transmission cases etc.
My father just had some parts cast at an Aluminum Foundry and after they were cast the parts were blasted with steel shot to remove the casting sand. Here are a few pics.
By the way these are the feet for the 3rd seat in my dad's 1940 Ford Woodie Wagon.
