I guess i am just bothered that no where in the description does it say that the buildsheet is a repo.

I'm with you 67, the ebay auction sure makes it look as if that sheet is being used to "document" the car in question, and it's even referred to as the "original factory buildsheet" in the listing. It could be an innocent "mistake" as the seller replied, but the fact that no effort has been made to clarify this with a revision of the auction description even after it's been brought to the seller's attention makes me think it's more of a "yeah you caught me and I'm not gonna BS you now that I know you know what you're looking at" kinda deal.

What's the legitmate excuse for presenting a "replica buildsheet" with a car for sale anyway? I can understand a replica window sticker is sort of neat taped in the window for that brand new day one look, but a replica buildsheet isn't really good for anything other than trying to make it look like a car was equipped from the factory in some particular configuration, in this case likely a configuration that was in some way more desireable than the way the car was actually built originally.

Please understand I don't know the seller or wish to incinuate anything about him or the car, I'd just say that in this instance there is enough questionable documentation being presented with the car that it should be THOROUGHLY inspected IN PERSON before laying out any $. Again, not bashing the car, just saying buyer beware here.
