It' a Edelbrock single 4 barrel intake fashioned after a crossram in that it has a large plenum and a removable top. It's called a "Smokey Ram", supposedly developed by Smokey Yunick.
$700.00 ain't too bad a price if it's stuffed with fives and tens.
