Mark... Take a close look at the hole for the shifter. Orig Z28 ones were cut with a torch and not a saw. I don't want us be the bearers of bad news but we might be. The exhaust plate should be welded to the frame rail and in the pic it just looks like the frame is drilled. I can put you in touch with someone in LA that could examine the car. I'd be interested in the Xram but I know you have your hands full.
