I read somewhere that they made 7 Identical Yenko cars for the movie, not sure how many hemi cars they made....From what you got to see they looked pretty real, but nobody in their right mind would crash a real one into a boat. The Yenko crowd is more touchy than the animal rights activists and rightly so!
The movie also showed respect for the Yenko and Hemi by having the guy say that their was no way their rice burners would ever win a race against them. I collect die cast cars, but Im not really intrested in the 2fast2furious cars because I know they were fake and its doesent seem right to buy a model of a copy...
