Sad.....The car was stolen when it was only a year or two old.
These slides, and fond memories, are all that remain. His Mom threw out these slides years ago during one of her basement Spring cleanings.
His younger brother Paul, my friend and the photographer, still living at home at the time,was going through the garbage at the curb looking for the baseball caps his mom had tossed also. He came across these and saved them.
While not that clear, they are a special treat.
The funny thing was Paul tried to talk his brother out of buying that car from Joel. He told his brother it was a ripoff and they could build the same car, if not faster for less money.
I told him the response the slides had generated on our site and he was thrilled.
