COPO Pete,
Berger did not keep any of the "old" dealer paperwork. There are however a few Berger COPOs with original dealer paperwork as well as protecto plates, and of course the matching numbers original drive train COPOs. One Berger COPO even has its original owner.
The exact number of COPOs ordered by Berger is not even confirmed, but an estimate.
Many Double COPOs were mislabled as Berger COPOs in the not to distant past (mid 1980's).
