Yesterday I was looking through some old Chicago-area newspapers from the 1968-71 era in search of new car ads from Nickey, Jack Douglass, and others. Here were 2 used ones of note:
From a Jan. 1971 Chicago Today.
Camaro-'67 Nickey SS h.t. 427-425 4 spd. hurst 4 lk. nw. polyglas. Runs Good. $1,900 Fi 3-1800 X395, Bob Porter.
From a Jan. 1971 Chicago Sun-Times ad for Towne Motors 5220 W. Cermak.
'69 Yenko $2295
"Chevelle" 427, 4-speed trans, special Firestone tires, tach, gauges, posi, buckets. All Yenko stock.
