Maybe you can borrow another fan to use...even a flex-a-lite with a spacer will work for the initial run. It is easier to install the fan with the radiator out of the car....more room to work. Also, since your engine guy will be there it might be good to prime the oilling system before you fire it up.

As for the fuel and tranny lines...just take your time and it will be ok. Might be easier for the tranny lines with the car up in the air...it will give you more wiggle room.
