I'm gonna have to do the first run without a fan, since the fan is on backorder. No biggie- there's still too much salt for the car to leave the backyard anyway. Won't be run long. I still have to put the rad in, hook the power steering up, trans cooler lines (they look super fun to remove- if anyone has tips on how to feed them through, they're pre bent) and then fuel lines. We're close. Given the 14th is the day Pap passed, that's the day I'm shooting for to run it for the first time back in the car. Really, I could pour gas down the carb and bark it off now, but the engine builder wants to be here for it, and I'd like to get it as close to done as I can first.
I only put the car back on the ground because, well, I haven't seen it at ride height with weight on the front end in over two years and wanted to.
