Man Charley, you are definitely on a roll!!! Congrats.

Nicest original trunk I have ever seen. Love that it has flat hood, no spoilers, console, but no gauges and no tach!!!!! That is LIKELY why OO blew the motor. If you have ever run a Z flat out through the gears, you know it JUST KEEPS ON PULLING, unlike most cars of the era. The L48 started to taper off at 5200 rpm, so one would instinctively shift. Not the Z. Just keeps going.
Of course, now Charley is going to post a pic of the aftermarket tach that was clamped to the steering column just to prove my theory wrong.

Great car. Always loved DY with black top and black stripes; bumble bee car.
