Kim Howie owned YS742. He sold it in 2006. It was sold through Barford Chevrolet also. Here is a link to his for-sale ad. He was unsure if it was a converted car. It was missing the original hood, and had emblems that look like 396 emblems, could they be 427 emblems? The 1968 picture is from the 2nd owner who told Kim it had a 283 in it when he bought it, with a standard hood, not the SS hood it would have been built with. It was also a 4K - car.
The COPO connection letter said it came with traction masters, tuned exhaust headers, scattershield and special plug wires.
I do not know who owns the car now, I believe it was bought in 2006 by another member of this site.
