I sold a 69 L78 Nova a bunch of years ago, that had what appeared to be an original BW coded 4:56 rear in it. Had no docs other than a Fischer body sheet indicating a L78 4 spd, but the build date and cast dates were dead on for the build date of the car. Was sold new at Lindner Chev in Colorado Springs.
