My ‘67 hood pins were installed in the hood leveller location. Factory leveller nut in the rad support was drilled out to accommodate larger diameter hood pins. Early fiberglass hoods were pretty weak down the center. So, you’ll often see the hood pins moved inboard quite a bit.
