Nah, been like this for 50 years, Bill. It has always come quite naturally... 
Lynn understands, my brother from a different Mother. He seems to have had the same tendency of dragging home abandoned strays most his life too. 
The one with the tough part is my wife. That poor girl had NO clue what she was getting herself into 33 years ago...
