I am really not that bad at backing a trailer. I could back it up Rick's drive way without any issues. But, I have to back it into some really tight spaces, with just 3 to 4 inches (or less) clearance on each side.
My biggest problem with the car hauler is that it sits so low, I cannot see where it is going when empty. It isn't as bad with the Yukon, as I have large side mirrors. In the El Camino, I can't see squat, even with Morris "clear shot" side mirrors, which are great for everyday driving, but not so much for hauling. I even thought about mounting a flag on each back corner.
What I really want is a set of two cameras. I want one mounted on each side on top of the tail / brake / turn signal light bracket. I want them to connect to my iphone (13) and be able see BOTH cameral views at the same time with a split screen on the iphone.
This would solve all my problems. Or at least my trailer backing problems.
All the searches on line with "split screen" in them lead to articles about using the dual cameras on my iphone.
