1967 was a watershed year for Muscle Cars. More new models were added - more than any other year prior to or after.
Sure - a 1966 L72 427 Biscayne could probably beat 90% of all the Muscle Cars on the Street. Who cared? It looked like Mom's Grocery Getter!
And that's why BB full size cars didn't sell.

Lee...Good analysis. we're on the same page now. I didn't see that "angle". But that is correct, those were the start up years for Pony cars.
