Pete, it’s not the same car.
I found my current Jetfire in a garage in Cali and it is an original 4 speed car. Fun Fact: In 1963 when a Jetfire was ordered with a 4 speed (only about 5 have been found intact), the transmission tunnel over the Borg Warner T-10 4 speed was cut out on the assembly line and a stamped steel trans hump was tacked on and sealed. Because the 4 speed was bigger then the Roto 5 automatic that most Jetfires had.
