The Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta has grown to become the largest balloon events in the world. It is held each year during the first week in October, the Balloon Fiesta now attracts almost 600 balloons and 1000 pilots.

The Balloon Fiesta is the most photographed event on the planet.

Balloon Fiesta directly increased the local business volume by $101.75 million and $71.23 million in indirect impact (2019).
