The Longest Day...
T oday is June 6th, 2021...the 77th anniversary of the allied invasion of Normandy. It is important to remember all those who served and made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom on D-Day.
The photo below is a local navy veteran and his wife...he served as a gunner on a landing craft at Omaha Beach, he was wounded in the battle. They have been married for over 70 years.
