IMHO - I don’t get it, you can’t see what’s in the diff housings unless the covers are off or you are Superman with X-ray vision. I understand the purists wanting to do Restorations correctly 100% like GM delivered but this stuff is getting pretty crazy. What’s next $1000 K for 69 dated GM gear oil? How about 69 dated engine bearings for $1500? I’m a purist too but somewhere you have to be realistic on restorations, or you will be buried financially into a Restoration. JMO.
