I have Pertronix internal conversion in 2 original distributors and the original appearance replacement in 2, WITH the correct, matching ohm coils. Why Pertronix continues with the different ohm coils is beyond me. With the correct coils, I have had no problems in 10 years. Quality coils seem to be on the endangered species list.
Is there anyone in the US still making oil filled coils? I like to buy a couple of quality coils and bypass the Chinese junk if I can.
Thinking I may go with a Pertronix Ignitor 11 D104600 at this stage.
