This is just another step in the direction of erasing some of our country's history by current educational systems. I honestly never thought I'd see the day when extolling America's virtues and exceptional history (not degrading or discrediting other countries, of course) is looked down upon and viewed negatively. I'm not buying it or participating. I teach my kids about it and fly a flag in my yard, but I guess I'm a dinosaur when it comes to patriotism, but I don't care if people think negatively of me for being proud of the United States.
