I inspected it back when it was here on Northern Illinois Auto Brokers showroom floor around 2001 for 65K.
Tony Begley had it roped off,and was hesitant at letting anyone get close to it.I got close enough to see it did have a #'s matching CON VIN on the block, but couldn't get close enough to see the Broach marks,as they were covered in orange paint.
It's cowl tag back then showed it came from the factory with a Black Bench seat, today it has Buckets & console.
Came with a 3.55 Posi from the factory originally.
It was at a few ChevyVetteFest shows back then,Dominic Biasco was the owner selling it.Was told John Ohler owned it after him and sold it later on @ Barret-Jackson.
I too have a copy of it's buildsheet,VIN 136670K124579.They were alot more then 1 white 1970 L-78 Convertibles made.
Make sure a REAL buildsheet is included, and not a copy as is stated in some old descriptions.
Sold for $183,700.00 back in 2008,but it never had a working Cowl Ind. Hood,Black stripes or hood pins from the factory, nor did it ever have Power steering,Power Windows or Tilt steering when delivered new,as mentioned & shown here:
