I have a pair of 1969 BBC heads for sale. These are rectangle port, closed chamber heads. They were only used on high performance Chevrolet engines.

The casting number is 3919840.
The casting dates are A.2.9 and A.20.9.

They retain the factory 2.19/1.72 valve size.

I took the heads to my local machine shop. They were baked, blasted, pressure tested and are ready to build. No cracks, porting, welds or helicoils. They’re guaranteed to be good with no issues.

These heads are correct for 396/375hp L78, 427/425hp L72, 427/435hp L71.

It’s getting harder and harder to find heads like these that aren’t modified with very desirable dates. Perfect for a stock, concourse restoration!
