Default WIW - 69 Camaro front turn signals and Cad plating question

Hi everyone! So I have been digging in my parts piles and working on 69 Camaro front turn signals. So I know these were gold cad like power boosters originally. I have an excellent set that deserve re-plating and a new home. My keep set also needs replating.

So 1st off, what are they worth in this condition? No splices, grommet and connector are both there. No blemishes on the exterior metal, so they should plate nicely. I had to weld in a new stud on each, oops on the grinding marks . But that area will be painted white and behind the lens.

Comes with nuts, screws, original lenses in VG cond. Just needs new gaskets.

2nd question, can these be replated without taking the socket off? Anyone do that? I see the Caswell copy-cad plating system, but for almost $300 for a kit to do 2 sets seems like a lot of cash. I have taken the socket off others and it is tough and never looks the same when assembled.

Any other tips from someone who has plated these before? Thanks!
