Not to high jack your thread Dave, but speaking of funny stuff you did in high school.

My buddy and I were putting a set of headers on his 72 Plymouth Scamp with a 318 engine and thought we really damaged something when we removed an exhaust manifold bolt and saw antifreeze pouring out. I was a Chevy guy and never saw anything like that LOL. I had to make a telephone call to my boss at the gas station who advised us that there was a water jacket that passed through and to just put some sealant on the header bolt and run it back in. I also remember having to take the torsion bar apart to fit the headers. Then we went out cruising the streets with a set of turbo mufflers attached directly to the headers hanging under the floor boards. We couldn't hear each other talk in the car but we had lots of fun... LOL....
