Default '68 MQ L-78 matched block, heads and intake. May '68

1968 Camaro L-78 MQ matched Block, Heads, Intake, Crank and Rods. Early May 1968

Date matched components in good condition. The Block and Heads have been magnafluxed, pressure checked and inspected by Willard Auto Machine in Omaha NE recently.

440 Block, factory 4 bolt main, cast E-6-8, Assembled T0509MQ, VIN # 18L341542. .030 over and has some surface rust in a couple of cylinders. I bought it over 10 years ago out of Seattle WA and thought I had it greased well enough. Might hone, may have to go .010. Also 2 small nicks in the deck surface as shown.

840 heads. Cast D-23-8 and E-6-8. Disassembled for checking and reassembled with no work done. Valves went back in the same guides. No evidence of port work or damage.

163 Intake. Cast 4-4-68. Very nice condition, no cracks, no pulled threads ( that I noticed ) nothing welded and it appears never blasted.

6223 Crank. Std/Std. Should polish or go .010/.010 at worst.

3/8" Dimple rods. Good used set of 8.

Block and heads are fluid filmed for rust prevention, lightly bolted together as a unit, stretch wrapped and on an engine cradle, strapped to a pallet for shipping.

Many more photos available for the asking at SS427Camaro.at.Outlook.dot.com.

$2,750.00 + shipping.
