Aside from the VIN plate, '67 Chevelles will generally have the VIN twice stamped on the top side of the left frame rail behind the axle, facing the trunk floor, easily seen with a light and a mirror.

Exceptions:
I've seen Fremont (CA) built cars with the VIN twice stamped instead on the top side of the left frame rail under the driver's door, not easily seen with the body on.

Also, Atlanta cars built after January 1st of '67 will also have the VIN stamped on the top of the cowl on the pass side, under the cowl panel, and at the bottom of the heater blower hole under the heater box.
