Underage Drinkers Have to Pen Essays. Like the rest of the country, Arkansas' legal drinking age is 21; however, the repercussions for underage boozin' in this state are kind of unusual. In addition to paying a fine, minors caught drinking need to write an essay about alcohol for school.
