Yes it can be off sometimes Sam. For the most part summers are good here with 70-90 degree temps, but I've seen 4 seasons in one day here whether it be May, June or July. I took the 68 to a local show mid August of this year and when I rolled it out to fire it up, the temps were just a few degrees above freezing that morning. (Rocky Mountain weather is unpredictable at best)

As far as the heater assembly goes...just trying to add some weight to bring the front end down w/o cutting down the front springs. Fluids, intake and headers should add some weight and settle in down another inch or two.
