Thanks for all of the input guys. I'm not really wanting to sell it, not right now anyway, but I didn't want to modify a rear end that was special. I'll probably end up doing a Dana 60 anyway.

I'm guessing that I missed the date by a year. As I understand it the L78 was an early '70 Chevelle, so this housing would be a November 14 '69 build. I'll check the casting date when I get a chance.
