 Rick, I believe the Tonawanda records show units "shipped", and not necessarily to assembly plants for production installation. Example. Tonawanda records show over 15,000 '62 409s shipped but only a little over 8,000 were installed in cars.
 
 You would need to find Chevrolet records showing how many RPO L89 options were installed in '69 models.
