Searching for 66 SS Chevelle
I am looking for a 66 my father bought new and then traded in on the green 68 L78 Camaro and I am hoping to find the Chevelle if its still out there. The 66 was a L34 car, black with red interior (not 100% sure if it was bench or bucket) but it had a 2 spoke wood wheel and knee knocker and it was a 4 speed car. It originally sold from Earl Evans Chevrolet in Painesville, OH and then traded into Glasscock Chevrolet in Willoughby, OH in April of 1968. Unfortunately I do not have the vin and I working on trying to locate the insurance company my parents used back then as well. I also have contacted the NOCC and waiting to hear back from them. I have a craigslist ad up in the Cleveland/Willoughby area asking for help and lastly I have contacted the Ohio BMV and that was a dead end as they could not do anything with the license plate number in the pics below. If anyone knows of this car or remembers it please let me know. Thanks, Darrell
I hope to find more pics over the Thanksgiving weekend Ill post them up once I have them.
