Oh.....I assumed that the spacer plates were needed for a 68 application because the 1969 Cragar GT Factory literature (see attached) lists a 14x6 rim for a 69 Camaro with or without disc brakes or 15x6 rim for a 69 Camaro disc brake option. However the 15x6 rim is only listed for a 68 Camaro disc brake application.
I know that the overall dimension of a 68 Camaro caliper when installed on the rotor is larger than the 69 Camaro caliper installed therefore requiring the larger 15x6 rim and according to notation "1" when referenced in the Cragar literature it lists the corresponding "Custom Wheel Disc Brake Spacer" kit 29100 is needed for clearance.
