10-15 years ago correct assembly line stock was all the rage,because modified street & clapped out driver quality cars were the majority.
Those cars were soon bought up & restored back to assembly line stock,so now the minority modified is all the rage today.
When everyone gets tired of seeing 22" wheel modifieds around their town,assembly line 14" stock wheeled cars will make a return,and SMOG parts prices will double.
The one thing I can't accept @ all,are tall 22" circus wagon wheels on these 45 + year cars......nooooooooo.
@ B-J Saturday,did you watch the 1970 Chevelle Shadow Grey LS-5 cnvt.(lot#1423),sky rocket & sell for $189,200.00,while the 1970 Forest Green LS-6 cnvt.(lot#1417) sold for less @ 176,000.00?....didn't see that coming.
Or how about the 1970 Schwinn Cotton Picker sting-ray getting $2900.00.
