I agree....
NASCAR is slowly going back to that.....at the request of the manufacturers and fans.
Stock and Super Stock have come so far so fast that the aftermarket rules both classes ...
NHRA adapted factory cars now the factories have to adapt to NHRA......
THE Sanctioning bodies rule second to none.....
Re writing the rule book is way overdue.
But....we may never see it.....the aftermarket supports racing more than anything else..
