I think you guys have the right mental pic, I have uploaded a pic...the threads fit through however the shank is too large...my confusion comes from these studs being included from the manufacturer.
The shocks were identified for use with 1969 Camaro with multi-leaf springs...don't know if 10-bolt or 12-bolt makes a difference.
Sammy...I don't know if they sell different size pins, if they do that would be the ideal route.
