I'm making some changes to the Chevelle. I haven't liked the Hurst Competition Shifter since I put it in. It doesn't feel solid like a Super Street Shifter or a Ram Rod. I much prefer the straight rods over the bent rods....it's a much more solid feel when shifting.
My trans builder told me to try the Ram Rod. After a week I'll either throw it out in the trash or get rid of my WIFE before I take that shifter out! [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/cool.gif[/img] I won't go that far but I'm going to try out the Ram Rod. If I don't like it, I have a Super Shifter for plan "C" to put in it. In other words, only the straight rods will be in the car.
