Ive got that set of pics from about 03 as well, judging how close it is to the dirt and for the length of time the rails and pans as well as inner and outer rockers, inner and outer wheelhouses, trunk drops, etc etc etc are probably shot.


To do a car like this correctly a donor car built in the same week (date codes) would need to be located, it would need excellent pans, rails, braces, reinforcements, etc. Then fully document the breakdown and rebuild so there are no questions as to the authenticity if the vehicle.

The car is worth the expense, however most would take the easier ways and rebody the car or use reproduction metal, braces, etc (which even though they are new, are not like the originals)


IMHO six figure investment grade cars should be done correctly.
