Primarily has to do with oxygen content..The great lakes has low oxygen at deep depths and ships that sunk 80-100 years ago look fresh. </div></div>
Agree, has to do with temp/oxygen. Look up the multi-millionaire pulling virgin American timber off the bottom of Lake Huron....the logs are perfect after a couple hundred years. He's pulling 20-50k each log......
