I like USPS and Fedex Ground. UPS is expensive and des have a tendancy to break things. That said, if a seller posts a shipping fee in an auction the buyer should be prepared to pay that rate. It is part of the terms of the auction. There are always exceptions to the rule and bidders should ask questions before bidding, not after they have won the item.

I like to offer actual or cheaper shipping since bidders seem to bid more when shipping is reasonable. If I lose a few bucks on shipping I tell myself the item sold for more than what it would have if shipping was more expensive. Am I fooling myself? Maybe.

Lately, I have had very few issues as a seller but many as a buyer. It seems like about 20% of the things I buy are significantly not as described. I'm talking intakes with major corrosion, cracks, etc. or tachs that are "working" when the needle is stuck against the face.
