Just saw this thread....Karen and I just got back from a 4 day event in the Adirondacks with 11 veterans...all were members of the Wounded Warrior Project. There were 4 women and 7 men in the group...they went hiking, shot sporting clays, learned fly fishing and more...8 of the soldiers made trips to remote camps via float plane for some added adventure. We had a special ceremony on Saturday nite to honor 911...many of the wounded warriors shared thoughts on their experiences from combat and on the 911 attack. They all were presented with a flag that had flown over the US Capital. This was one of the most incredible weekends of my life...can't wait until next year!!
