Now that I look farther down the page, the same casting number was also used on some 75-91 GM cars and some Jeeps too.
Just looked on CRG and they show those casting numbers on 69 Camaro too. Maybe it was a generic casting that could have been used in anything depending on what parts were put in it and what steering arm was attached to it.
