I cant see buying a body in white for a stock or super stock,and pro stock doesnt use any production components.By the time you buy all the components to complete it such as glass,bumpers,interior parts ect,the cost might be near that of a whole car.If you are racing stock and super stock you need the stock head,block and other castings to build the car so why not just buy the car?Aside from a fastest street car type ride there isnt much of a market for these cars.I looked into getting one,and decided it would be better to buy a whole 1LT car and sell what I dont need.Even better yet might be to buy an SS and sell the V8 and 6 speed trans long with the wiring harness and all that to a street rodder.Sell the wheels,the rear suspention and all that,you could be below the cost of a body in white with all the panels and trim and have a painted car too.
