This rear came out of a 70 Nova SS that had 48,000 when it quit running the roads. It is an excellent restoration piece.
The code stamped on the rear is CBM 0227 G2

Not sure about the last '2', maybe 2nd shift? Protecto plate does not have the 2 on it.
It has original multi leaf perches.
I've not opened this housing but have checked the ratio and it does come out to 3.31 open.
