Used originally on nearly every GM V8 from 1967-1974,be it SB or BB.
The list is too extensive to list here,but there were some exemptions.
Along with 238,does it have a BR,B-R,12V or 12-V embossed on it's side?
Coils can be restored cosmetically,but not really cost effective to restore internally,especially since they now reproduce this popular coil today.
